That root cause is a lack of the immune systems ability to do its job. Without the right fuel our body can not take care of itself properly. Our immune system cannot work correctly and illness insues. Little things at first. Bigger things as time goes on and major things way to soon.
The definition of nutrients is “a substance that provides nourishment essential for growth and the maintenance of life.” All living things require various nutrients to grow, thrive and stay healthy. For humans those nutrients include essential and non essential. Essential nutrients cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained, mostly thru what we eat and drink.

Nonessential nutrients are made naturally in the body. They can also be absorbed through certain foods. Even though they are referred to as non essential they are still important in maintaining health.

The Essential Nutrients that we need are carbohydrates, water, fat, protein, a variety of vitamins and a variety of minerals.
Our body is made perfectly and it’s made to protect itself from illness and disease. However, we are in charge of providing the fuel, the nutrients.

Today, everything is processed. Chemicals are added. Artificial colors are added. Artifical flavors are added. Things are bleached and stripped of nutrition only to add laboratory made vitamins and minerals back in. Animals are pumped full of antibiotics and growth hormones, and then we eat that.
The body is natural. It requires natural fuel. Humans are not deficient in laboratory made chemicals, but there are lots of us deficient in natural fuel.
We see a brand new baby come into the world, perfect. As time goes on we see dry skin, ear infections, a fever, a rash, respiratory issues etc.. And often, that is all seen in toddlers. Then comes allergies, asthma and well, you get the point. Instead of questioning the reasons for this, its normalized and expected by the doctors and the parents. Actually, they are right. It has become expected and normal and that is the saddest part of all.

The bigger question is WHY has it become normal and expected? It’s not normal and should not be expected. The baby should stay healthy and free of illness. However, that is rather hard to do once the immune system is compromised.
A child cannot go to the grocery store and make their own choices. It’s the job of the parents to do that. The child cannot decide what medical proceedures they shall have or not have. That is also the job of the parents.
No one wants to admit they might play a role in their own child’s illness. And certainly a doctor is not going to. But is it more important to see ourselves as the perfect parent rather than strive to be a better one?

We need to take care of our body. It’s the only place we have to live.
