This recipe for 5 Step Crock-Pot Cabbage Soup is loaded with nutrition. As an example:
Cabbage is a storehouse of phytochemicals like thiocyanates, indole-3-carbinol, lutein, zeaxanthin, sulforaphane, and isothiocyanates. These compounds are potent antioxidants and may help protect against breast, colon, and prostate cancers and help reduce bad cholesterol levels. Not to mention the vitamins and minerals like Vitamin C, B5, B6 and B1, potassium, manganese, iron, and magnesium.

I love cabbage and we use it a lot. I rarely make a soup or stew that we don’t add cabbage and of course.. you know how I LOVE my sauerkraut.
This recipe is particularly easy .. Just 5 steps. Note: This recipe has chicken in it. I have made it without any meat and just the other day we made it with venison burger….. it was yummy.… I also add sage but then, I add it to nearly everything.
